Tiffany Studios LCT Signed Favrile Glass Pulled Feather Shade — Green & Opal, 5.5"

A beautiful example of Tiffany Studios Favrile art glass in the classic pulled feather motif. The body shades from a warm creamy opal at the neck into soft aqua and rich spring green, with the feathering pulled and combed into crisp, feathered plumes that wrap the lower half. The glass is subtly ribbed and finished with a gently ruffled, scalloped rim that catches the light along its edge.

Lit from within, the opalescent ground glows and the green decoration deepens — exactly the effect the Favrile process was designed to achieve.

Condition: Displays beautifully. There is a tight hairline descending from the rim that is not readily apparent in normal display and does not detract from the overall presentation. Some minor chipping to the fitter rim, typical of shades of this age and generally concealed once mounted in a fixture. No loss to the decorated surface.
