Tiffany Studios Favrile Glass Flower Form Vase, circa 1900–1915

Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933), Tiffany Studios, New York. Favrile glass floriform (flower form) vase in iridescent gold, green, and amber tones with pulled-feather decoration. The vase rises from a domed circular foot with iridescent gold and green feathered trails, through a slender green stem with delicate threading, to a swelling bulbous midsection, and culminating in a dramatic flared and ruffled rim suggesting a blossom in full bloom. Rich iridescence throughout with pink, amber, and green coloring. Signed on the underside.
