An elegant American art glass vase by Steuben Glass Works, created during the celebrated Frederick Carder era (1903–1933). This striking trumpet-form vase features the coveted Shape #1901 design with a gracefully flared rim and circular footed base.
The vase showcases Carder's signature decorative technique: delicate blue applied ribs extending vertically through warm amber-toned crystal glass, creating a sophisticated interplay of color and light. The optical ribbing catches and refracts light beautifully, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of Steuben's master glassblowers.
Authenticated by the acid-etched "STEUBEN" signature on the polished pontil, consistent with pieces produced in Corning, New York during the 1920s.
