This is a striking example of René Lalique's iconic "Coquilles" (Shells) vase, model number 932, rendered in luminous opalescent glass. Standing approximately 7.5 inches tall, the vase features bold, overlapping scallop shell motifs in high relief that wrap the entire body, their finely striated ridges catching and diffusing light beautifully. The opalescence gives the piece a soft, ethereal blue-white glow — particularly at the rim and in the recesses of the molded design — transitioning to a warmer frosted tone toward the base.
