A beautiful authentic flower-form (floriform) compote by Louis Comfort Tiffany, executed in Tiffany's celebrated Favrile glass. The wide, gently ruffled rim opens like a blossom, displaying a warm gold-amber iridescence that shifts to soft pinks, peaches, and silvery highlights depending on the light. The interior shows the fine "oil-on-water" iridescent surface and subtle crackle texture that collectors prize in Tiffany's gold Favrile.
The body and slender stem are decorated with a striking green pulled-feather (leaf) motif, rising from a broad, domed disc foot that glows with rich blue, violet, and gold iridescence on the underside.
Maker's Mark: Retains its original round Tiffany paper label reading "Tiffany Favrile — Registered Trade Mark" with the L.C.T. monogram, along with an etched/engraved signature and number to the underside of the base.
Dimensions: Approximately 6 inches tall × 7 inches wide.
